Shore Sitters is a babysitting and nannying referral company, providing families in the Monmouth county area with safe and reliable childcare. As our focus is local, we aim to provide a more personalized service. Our sitters undergo a thorough interview process to ensure we are providing clients and families with the best care. We take 0% cut from our sitters; they are paid directly by you.

A monthly or annual membership to Shore Sitters provides families the ability to request a babysitter as frequently as they’d like. Families have access to the entire network of sitters that have been thoroughly screened with personality interviews, background checks, reference checks and CPR certification verification. This membership is perfect for date nights, events, inconsistent after school help, and whatever else life brings. More information can be found here.

To request a sitter you must be an active member of Shore Sitters. This membership gives you access to your member's area where you are able to request a sitter, view all our sitters, and even leave reviews for your favorites. We love feedback!!

Requests are filled based on sitter availability. Parents are able to put in a request for which sitter they would like, but we cannot guarantee that sitter will be available. All our sitters are great - we love them all and think you will too!

If you are looking for consistent childcare that is something separate from the unlimited membership. We strongly encourage you to explore our nanny options, and then reach out to us. We understand that every family's needs are different and we will work on finding your family the best match for a qualified nanny. Due to sitter/nanny availability, we cannot guarantee you will receive the same person every time.
